What happens when you lose everything and find yourself at rock bottom? Jon Tarr shares how he turned it all around. Jon now owns 4 eight-figure businesses and tells us why true success in business all comes down to 5th grade math!
Inspiration:
Jon's dad told him that when you take on the management for someone else's business you get 100% of the responsibly and 100% of the headache. He decided to NEVER work for someone else.
Challenge:
During the market downturn Jon's turned in his hummer lease, lost his house, closed his radio show and used his bike to get around. He pulled through and rebuilt, now owning 4 eight figure businesses.
Passion:
Jon loves teaching people the 3 things that matter in business, that no one ever tells you. He boils it all down to so that the guessing and drama are removed form your business. 1. What is your front end customer worth? 2. What is the lifetime value of that customer? 3. How much does it cost to acquire that customer?
Advice:
Jon's dad's friend, Steve Gribble told him to hold off on getting an MBA and go get some real life business experience. Surround yourself with good people who are doing what you want to do. You become who you hang out with, so choose carefully.
